Recognizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle, I explore such issues as nutrition, exercise, stress management, social connection and sleep in overall physical and emotional health and wellness.

As a trained yoga and mindfulness meditation instructor, I integrate mindfulness and psychotherapy. I earned a Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell University and am a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work.

My clinical interests include health-related behavior change, harm reduction, Relational Cultural Theory, mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and lifestyle medicine as a part of an integrated approach to care.

Community Involvement

Prior to relocating back to Buffalo, NY, I lived in Providence, RI, where I taught vinyasa yoga and mindfulness meditation classes in the community for almost 8 years. I was also an instructor in the Student Health and Wellness program at Rhode Island School of Design.

While in Rhode Island I received statewide recognition and was awarded for my work in community development through such activities as advocacy, outreach, education and program development.

In 2018, I was honored to be recognized and named to the roster of Health Care Champions by Buffalo Business First, signifying a high level of accomplishment within the field of health care in Western New York.
